‘Izzat al-Saltanah gives a report of their travel: first, on the way from Tehran to Qum, Mahmud Khan was thrown from the carriage, but only sustained minor injuries on his hands, for which Khanum [their mother, Khadijah Sultan] sacrificed a few sheep. They stayed for one night and made pilgrimages to the shrine. The road from Qum to Burujird was bumpy. Near ʻIraq-i ʻAjam (Arak), the servants' carriage was overturned but nobody was injured. Letter from Karbalayi Baqir to Aqa regarding the triple divorce settlement of a woman, in his office/presence, and payment of the alimony during the waiting period under the condition that the woman stays with a Sayyidah woman who is his neighbor. The previous night he noticed that the woman was not with Sayyidah, and had claimed that she had Aqa's permission to go anywhere she wanted. He inquires about this claim and informs Aqa that if the woman were not entrusted to an honorable person, he did not wish to be responsible for her.

Letter from Muvassaq al-Dawlah to Nizam al-Saltanah, 1914
A letter, along with the envelope, from Muvassaq al-Saltanah, the Minister, to Nizam al-Saltanah, the Governor of Burujird and Luristan; it refers to Mihr ‘Alikhan and Sardar Khan's unlawful construction on a property owned by Hurmat al-Dawlah. The author mentions the continuing construction despite the order that was placed before the addressee's departure. He requests halting the construction and recommends using legal methods if there is a claim on ownership.
